Between June 12th and 14th, the world's biggest exhibition for solar technology takes place in Munich for the first time. Intersolar started in Freiburg but was transferred to Munich following the enormous growth of the solar industry and a rising number of exhibiting companies. Now 1,020 exhibitors take part at the leading exhibition for solar technology and present current products and trends. After more than 31,000 visitors in the previous year, more than 40,000 visitors are expected for 2008. Furthermore, Intersolar is taking on an increasingly international character. The organizer of the event expects that 42 percent of the exhibitors will come from abroad for the 2008 event.
EuPD Research will also be present at Intersolar this year. Moreover, we will be on location at the PV industry forum, which is held in advance of the exhibition on June 10th and 11th. Mr. Markus A.W. Hoehner, CEO of EuPD Research, will be chairing the session "PV markets outlook". It will take place on June 10th between 12.20 and 3.30pm. EuPD Research Presentation at the "SMET Munich 2008"
On the occasion of the Intersolar, EuPD Research is publishing the first global PV thin film analysis that is based on a primary survey. Markus Wackerbeck, Head of Energy and Utilities, will present the research results at the "Solar Materials, Equipment and Technology Conference".
